It is really easy to upload photos onto Flickr. I think that we could use Flickr in the classroom to share photos with our families from field trips and also parent/child activity days. We always take lots of photos of our students, showing how they enjoy the activities. Parents don't always have their camera or are too busy with their child that they are not taking pictures.

I think the idea of using Flickr to share classroom photos is an excellent idea.
ReplyDeleteStudents can 'show and tell' parents and grandparents their classroom experiences and the photos will not be taking up hard drive space on your classroom computer.
Hey, I do love the idea of posting pics to Flickr for our classroom. It would alleviate all the parents asking me to email them their child's picture. Maybe if I get good at this stuff (and the district allows), then I could be the person to upload the pictures for our class.
